Wonderful place to stay - Holsas had everything we needed.  Views wonderful & very much enjoyed laughing at the young cows racing each other up and down the field outside.  Great location to explore the Islands & their history.  We always look out for WWI & II graves & looked up the history once back in the Lodge.  

Lest we forget.

Sad to be going but onward travels!

We've thoroughly enjoyed our time here.  Holsas is so comfortable with everything we've needed - and what views!  It's been an ideal base from which to explore South Mainland, then come 'home' to, relax and enjoy watching the skylarks, rabbits and cows.  Thank you, Kenneth and Hazel.  We'd love to come back, if you'll have us again!

 

We've had a fantastic 4 weeks in every way.  Our hosts welcomed us to Holsas which was immaculate.  The views are superb.  The lodge contained everything we wanted & more!! 

Very comfortable - it became "home" to us for 4 weeks.  Kenneth & Hazel were on hand for any questions we had.  Very friendly & helpful.  

We've island hopped, seen wildlife and in truth, we don't want to go home!!  We were blessed with great weather too.  A marvellous time.  We hope to return to visit the western Islands.

We had an excellent stay in Holsas for the last 12 days, a return stay after a few years away. 

As always, Holsas is a beautiful cosy home from home, spotlessly clean, fully fitted out with everything necessary for a comfortable stay.

In particular we enjoyed the really comfortable bed, tastefully decorated bedroom.  The peace and tranquility of the setting and gorgeous views were just what we needed. 

Kenneth & Hazel are perfect hosts who think of everything to ensure an enjoyable stay.  We will definitely be back.
